Back to the Bookshelf!

Reviews of books, movies, and more

About

I am Kate, book lover, movie fan, and pop culture enthusiast. I graduated from college with degrees in English and History, which equipped me with the necessary tools to over-analyze everything. I’ve worked/volunteered in countless libraries and archives, but ultimately decided to pursue a Master’s in Higher Education in order to help students have the best college experience possible.  In my spare time, I take long walks and longer showers, make lists, think about Myers-Briggs types a lot (I’m an INFJ), and get very opinionated while watching House Hunters.

I started this blog in 2011 as a place where I could post my reviews of young adult (YA) books. It has since evolved into more of a catch-all blog for analyses, reviews, and lists about movies, TV, and various books.

Find me on GoodReads.

Thank you so much! I’ve only been blogging for a few months, so your nomination is huge encouragement! I loved your Pride and Prejudice adaptation comparison and look forward to future reviews 🙂
